This was the bonus WOTG from the Autumn/Winter 2008 Idea Book. I love that this LO uses very little B&T but it packs a huge punch of color. Imagine how many LOs like this you could get from one level 2 paper pack!
Many people shy away from using their own handwriting, but I really want to encourage you to write on some of your layouts. Your handwriting is a piece of you, and every little bit you add to your scrapbooks is like a gift to future generations. I also say throw caution to the wind and write without drawing lines like I did here. It saves time and encourages us to embrace imperfection in our scrapbooking! The less time we spend worrying about perfection, the more time we actually spend creating layouts to showcase our precious memories and loved ones. If you want to punch up your handwriting a bit, add stamped words here and there.
Don't forget the little touches. A cute coordinating arrow brad or safety pin adds dimension and visual interest to your projects.
